Sri Lankan Ruby:
Sri Lankan Rubies are purplish red to red in color, dissimilar to the pink tones of the Burmese Rubies. Also, the Sri Lankan Rubies exhibit a wide array of tones which range from medium to very light tones. Though the Sri Lankan Rubies have less extinction areas and minimum gray masking, the hue of the Sri Lankan Ruby is not evenly disseminated.
Thai or Cambodian Ruby:
The next type of Ruby stone which falls after the Burmese and the Sri Lankan is the Cambodian Ruby. In terms of as well as the color range it comes at the third number. The color range of Cambodian Ruby is in between purplish red to red with a tint of orange. The Cambodian Ruby is normally marked with striking gray to brownish colors and it also has a lot of black extinction areas.
